Civitas member Randy Shulman, senior vice president for Advancement and External Relations for the Huntington Library, was recently interviewed by Cynthia Kurtz where he explained The Huntington’s forward-looking plans that build upon its recent restoration of a 1680s Japanese house, an expanded desert garden and a new center for art conservation and enhanced collections use.
The Huntington is now showing Pasadena artist Betye Saar’s latest commission and is celebrating four recent art acquisitions that include a Goya, Hockney, and a 14th century Chinese scroll by renowned artist Qiu Ying.
