Five bands have made the cut to take part in a competitive performance at “Rock Lacy!” — a youth battle of the bands showcase on Saturday, April 20.
Eight bands initially auditioned for the competition. The five bands who made the cut will be competing for the public’s vote at Lacy Park. The event begins at noon.
The bands will be vying to win the grand prize: two hours of studio recording time and a main-stage performance at the city’s Fourth of July celebration.
Guests are encouraged to bring their blankets, lawn chairs and snacks to enjoy the performances.
The San Marino Music Center is sponsoring the showcase, which is free to the public. Registration is not required.
