The San Marino Garden Club recently held its monthly meeting at the Los Angeles County Arboretum. Afterward, botanist and botanical information specialist Frank McDonough treated the group to a walking tour of whose theme dealt with the future of flowering trees and which ones perform best in water-lean landscapes. Along the path, members of the group photographed the flowering trees, plants, peacocks, geese, fountains and the gorgeous landscape.
