East Meets West Parent Education Club will host its annual family picnic on Saturday, May 11, at Lacy Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The club invites the community to gather and catch up with one another, as well as cheer on all of the youth that have earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award milestone and other awards. The club will provide sandwiches, fruits and water.
EMWPEC has paid for the park admission fee for all guests, so when visitors enter from the main entrance, they can simply say that they are there to attend the East Meets West Club picnic and they will be able to enter for free, regardless of residency.
