Valentine Elementary School held its first Engineering Fair last week. This event had more than 200 students participating and was chaired by Jennifer Kang. Students chose from three grade-level-specific engineering projects and used lessons learned in STEM lab and new science standards. The students presented their projects to judges using the Engineering Design Process. Project viewing was held over two nights to encompass all of them. The Engineering Fair was a huge success.
