Police Make Arrest In Mill Lane Home Invasion

On Wednesday October 2, The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes task force – working in collaboration with the San Marino Police Department – arrested a suspect for a home invasion burglary which occurred June 6 on Mill Lane. The suspect, identified as Salvador Miranda, is 29 years old and has an address in Los Angeles. Miranda was booked into the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s station and bail was set at $225,000. He is charged with PC 459; Residential Burglary and PC 207(a); Kidnapping. San Marino detectives utilized “extensive forensic investigative tools in solving this case with the assistance of the Glendale Police regional laboratory. “Detective Franco spearheaded the investigation, which was long and arduous but has resulted in the arrest,” said San Marino Police Lt. Les Rune. “We worked with other agencies and it has paid off.” Rune said two other suspects remain at large.
