San Marino Unified School District Facilities Get Spring Sprucing

The San Marino Unified School District’s maintenance and operations team took advantage of spring break to make improvements to school facilities districtwide.

Some of the work done included changing HVAC filters, and water-blasting the exterior of multiple sites.

Valentine Elementary had patching, sealing and striping on its playground cracks, and Carver had its auditorium floor waxed and its ramp was refurbished.

Additionally, lights were repaired at the Barth Athletic Complex at Huntington Middle School, and at the San Marino High School tennis courts as well.

“Their hard work will ensure a well-maintained learning environment for students and staff upon their return on Monday,” SMUSD said in a social media post celebrating the maintenance and operations team.
