San Marino Police Department Arrests Two In Recent Spate of Home Burglaries

By Krista Daly

The San Marino Police Department has been responding to a rash of burglaries in the city.

Detectives arrested a man on Monday who allegedly burglarized and robbed a woman in February. The woman, who lives in the 900 block of Winston Avenue in San Marino, returned to her home on the morning of February 19 and was immediately confronted by a man in her garage who robbed her and fled the scene in her 2014 Mercedes GL450 SUV.

It was later discovered that the suspect has burglarized the home before the woman had arrived home. Approximately four hours later, the vehicle was recovered in the city of Sherman Oaks.
