The San Marino Schools Foundation celebrated residents who have given at least $2,000 to the foundation at its annual Donor Recognition Party on Friday, May 1, hosted by Lucy and John Tsai.
“We’re very grateful,” said Foundation President Peter Koh.
The funds are unrestrictive, but most of the donations go toward providing nearly 10 percent of salaries for teachers, which allows the schools to have smaller class sizes. It also supports enhanced curriculum.
