The San Marino PTA Council will host a Showcase Open House to present the work of local entries in the National PTA Reflections contest on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm in the San Marino Unified School District Office Board Room. The event is free and open to the public.
The 2016-2017 theme is… “What Is Your Story?” Entries in art, literature, film, dance choreography, musical composition and photography from all four San Marino schools will be on display. The contest begins at the district level and the winners can continue all the way to the national level.
The Reflections Program provides students with opportunities to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme, while increasing community awareness of the importance of the arts in education.
