A Joyous Performance by HMS Band

The Huntington Middle School Band celebrated the holidays with its annual Band Winter Concert recently. Band Director Bill McDaniel and Jazz Band Director Derek Jamieson planned a program filled with seasonal favorites which were performed by the Spartan Band, Varsity Band, Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble. In the finale, the combined bands invited the audience to participate in a rousing performance of Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy.”
