More than 130 parents of San Marino High School seniors came together Friday night at the lovely home of Amy and Jules Buenabenta to see plans for Grad Night, 2017. In its 62nd year, Grad Night provides the entire graduating class a safe, all-night celebration that includes dinner, dancing, games and entertainment – all in a custom-made lavish setting. This unique tradition has been supported and funded by SMHS parents as well as community members, businesses and organizations. Thousands of volunteer hours will be devoted to this year’s Grad Night by way of planning, building, painting, and arranging for entertainment and food. This year’s theme for the all-night graduation party is MONOPOLY! The committee has passed ‘GO,’ but is asking parents and community members to help with building, donations and staffing for Grad Night on Friday, June 2.
