The PTA Council announced its Honorary Service Award recipients, who will be honored at the 87th annual PTA Council Founder’s Day Awards ceremony titled, “Celebrate! It’s a Red, White & Blue Tribute to our Hometown Heroes!” A complete list of the recipients can be found below. The ceremony will be held Tues., Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Kenneth White Auditorium at Huntington Middle School.
Co-Chairs Kim Sutherland and Homeira Asghari invite the community to attend and help celebrate the district’s Honorary Service Award recipients, who were elected from each school site and council level. Tunes from the HMS Orchestra will greet attendees when doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold for $10 at the door.
