Villa Esperanza Services, an organization that offers programs to support individuals with disabilities at every stage of life, will recognize San Marino residents Lisa and Tim Sloan with the ‘Guardian Angel’ award for the impact they are making in the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental challenges. The Sloans have supported Villa for many years as donors, and Lisa as a committee member and current board member.
The event, titled ‘Leave an Impression,’ takes place Saturday, May 20, at the Langham Huntington Hotel.
“This year’s honorees, Lisa and Tim Sloan, inspired the theme for the 2017 benefit ‘Leave an Impression,’” said Board and Benefit Committee Member Jeri Wright, also of San Marino. “Lisa and Tim have left an impression with everyone at Villa with their steadfast commitment to making a difference, their tireless support for our clients and programs and their amazing generosity.”
Additional benefit committee members include Michelle Cox, Kathy Cunningham, Annissa Deshpande, Judy Gordon, Susan Jackson, Dr. Lori Levi, Janet Louie, Marcie Robinson, Maryann Seduski and Melissa Wu.
The Tribune’s Editor Mitch Lehman will serve as the event’s Master of Ceremonies. The evening will take place in the Viennese Ballroom.
Sponsorships are available as well as tickets, with all net proceeds of the event going to support Villa’s programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
