Gretchen Shepherd Romey, Susan Jakubowski and Ken Ude rode a wave of momentum into office yesterday, winning the three open seats on the San Marino City Council by a wide margin over Calvin Lo, Dr. Hai-Sou Chen, Scott Kwong and Eugene Sun.
Candidates waited until well into the night for election results, but the final numbers remained similar to the margin of absentee ballots, which was released shortly after the polls closed on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.
