Georgia Lee Mon

April, 1928 – December, 2017

Georgia was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved with her family to California in 1934. She and her two sisters who survive her, Cindy Doumani and Millicent Ford, grew up on a five-and-a-half acre rancho in Van Nuys and were original “Valley Girls.” After graduating from Corvallis High School in Studio City, she attended Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri and upon returning to California, started working as a secretary, with her favorite job being in advertising. Georgia married Donald D. Mon, a patent lawyer, in Pasadena in 1955. She was a longtime resident of San Marino and enjoyed volunteering and being active in the Pasadena chapter of Lawyers’ Wives.

Georgia is survived by her two children, Julee Mon Floyd (Dan) and Nanci Mon (Rod Powers), and her grandchildren, Michelle and Charmayne Floyd and Skye McDiarmid.

Georgia will be greatly missed by all. We love you Mom and Grandma!
