The Carver Elementary School PTA hosted the school’s annual Lunar New Year Celebration last week. Events included a Shaolin martial arts demonstration, balancing tea-pots and a traditional lion dance. Students had a delicious Chinese cuisine menu at lunchtime as well as special crafts and games on the playground. The event was co-chaired by Bonnie Hsu and Kathy Wu with special support from the Chinese Club of San Marino.
