Doug Berry Named Principal of Village Christian

Doug Berry, San Marino High School’s Assistant Principal in charge of Instruction and Guidance, has been named principal of Village Christian High School, it was announced today. Berry will begin his new duties on July 1.

“I am so thankful for my time here in San Marino,” Berry said in an interview Friday morning. “The great people, the great students and the tremendous support from the community. I have learned a lot here and it has been a great experience.”

Berry told The Tribune he began the interview process shortly before San Marino’s spring break and that he will be replacing Bruce Osgood, who Berry worked under while the two were at Burbank High School several years ago.

“Bruce is a great guy and our previous experience together was a big help,” Berry added.

Berry began at San Marino High School in August, 2014. He and his wife, Becky, live in Pasadena and have three children ages 17, 15 and 14 who attend Maranatha.

He will be introduced to the faculty at Village Christian on May 1.
