Seth Mazumoto, a senior at San Marino High School, was recently named to the All-CIF Division 10 football team.
The middle linebacker and co-captain was the team’s leading tackler and was named the Titans’ defensive most valuable player at the end-of-season banquet.
“Seth is a quiet guy, but he is also very coachable,” said Titan coach Justin Mesa. “He is willing to be corrected and always willing to learn more about the game of football. Seth has been willing to do everything we have ever asked of him and is a warrior out there on the football field.”
In the spring, Matzumoto plays for SMHS’ varsity volleyball team, and last year he was named its defensive player of the year — to the surprise of absolutely nobody.
