San Marino High School freshman Margaret Piatos teamed with Kimberly Tan of Harvard-Westlake over the weekend to win the girls’ 16-and-under championship at the West Coast Tennis, Manhattan Beach Open Doubles event.
Piatos was a starter for the Lady Titans in the fall as San Marino won the Rio Hondo League championship, and also is the president of the freshman class.
She is the daughter of Medwin and Joanna Piatos. Her brother Jonathan played at Maranatha High School and Loyola Marymount University, and another brother, Joshua, 21, was a member of University High School’s CIF championship squad and now plays at New York University.
