Michele Christena Byerly Hutzley passed away quietly on 6/14/ 21 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California with her sisters Tena & Greta and dear family friend Bryan Lamb at her bedside.
Michele was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Andree (Tonnis) and Thayer “Bob” Byerly. She grew up in North Hollywood and Burbank after the family moved to California when she was a small child.
Michele is often described by people she met as “sweet,” “friendly” and “fun.” Those who knew her well knew she was a “rocker chick” who loved live music, dancing, muscle cars, her cats and the Denver Broncos.
She was very fond and proud of her nieces and nephews. Michele is survived by her younger sister Christena “Tena” Byerly (& Kevin Ramirez); her older sisters Greta (Traugott Binkley) Sievert (& Bruce Sievert), Kathy(Traugott) Slover (& Lynn “Cotton” Slover; her favorite brother Robert “Tony” Traugott; her former husband & forever friend Derek Hutzley; and nieces & nephews Brittany Montroy, Lucas Binkley, Olivia Viggiano & Andrew Jordan.
Michele will be sorely missed by her family on Earth but welcomed by many angels in Heaven, including her Mother, Father, nephew, brother-in-law and Grandparents who all loved her.
There is some grace in knowing she is no longer struggling or suffering in this life.
