On Aug. 4, 2021, we lost a great man, loving husband, father and grandfather.
Roger, born March 12, 1944, grew up in Burbank and graduated from Burbank High.
Roger served 4 ½ years in the U.S. Navy before marrying his high school sweetheart, buying their home, started their family.
Roger worked for the city of Burbank as a senior electrician for 36 years before retiring. He loved family get togethers.
Roger is survived by his high school sweetheart/wife Gail (Vicky) Haidle of 62 years; son Robert, daughter-in-law Michelle; granddaughters Jennifer, Jacquelyn, and Jessica; grandson-in-law Matt; and his great-grandkids Aiden, Remi and Hunter.
A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says “don’t grieve for me, remember the good times and laughter we’ve shared together.”
My mind is at ease and my soul is at rest and I’ll forever remember my memories with you all! I’ll cherish the good times and hold that in my heart. I’ll look down on you, protect you and never expect anything less than that. I’ll always remember how I was truly blessed with what God gave me and the people he placed into my life and my love will live on for all eternity.
So keep your chin up and a smile on your face, and I will one day see you again.”
