The Rotary Club of San Marino’s International Projects Committee will hold a special fundraising auction of a painting by internationally renowned artist Teodoro Anton Nieto today, Dec. 9.
This work was donated by Laura and Franz Reinert, members of the Tijuana Independencia Rotary Club, to help the San Marino club raise funds for its international projects.
The auctioned painting by Anton, who is a native of Spain, is an original oil on board creation. His paintings have been previously auctioned to fund beds for Mexican orphanages, vaccines in Africa, homes in Guatemala, student scholarships and other social benefits.
The auction will take place during the club’s regular lunch meeting, which begins at noon. Absentee bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. on the same day.
The painting can be previewed prior to the Rotary meeting beginning at 11:30 a.m.
