Schools Foundation Delights With Tropical Gala

After a two-year hiatus, the San Marino Schools Foundation returned to celebrate its annual gala in person last Saturday. Guests excitedly gathered on the grounds at Southwestern Academy to celebrate spring, local schools and volunteerism. The San Marino Schools Foundation supporters celebrated their annual gala in person at Southwestern Academy last Saturday.

With a beachy, luau theme, about 200 guests congregated on the spacious lawn and were treated to hors d’oeuvres and tropical-themed drinks. Spirits were high among the guests with the spring weather and much-anticipated return of in-person celebrations.

SMSF President Erin Bilvado and Vice President Maurice Saldebar awarded certificates of appreciation to Jean-Pierre Mainguy, Calvin Lo and Valerie and Aaron Weiss.
