The Huntington Middle School boys’ basketball team captured the Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation championship by defeating Pasadena, 48-25, last weekend in South Gate. Earlier in the tournament, San Marino had defeated Glendora and Walnut by lopsided scores. Members of the championship team include Marcus Chen, Nickolas Acuna, Ashton Liu, Aaden Choi, Ethan Chin, coach Jean-Gharry Pierre, Braiden Trang, Andy Zhong, Xing Lu, Miles Marcos and Matthew Woo.
