The 4th-graders at Carver Elementary were ready to have some fun during 49er Day on Friday, March 24.
Students dressed in their best Gold Rush-themed attire as they celebrated the California history they learned about all year.
Each classroom had a variety of special activities, as well as a combined grade-level presentation and an opportunity to pan for gold.
