Members from the Chinese Club of San Marino recently presented a $1,000 check to the Greater Los Angeles Area Council’s Rose Bowl District Scouts.
Accepting the donation for the group included unit coordinator Alfredo Chavez, district gala chair Nancy Ko, Good Scout Award honoree Susan Hensley, Troop 351 Committee chair Tricia Acevedo and several San Marino Scouts.
“On behalf of the Greater L.A. Scouting’s Rose Bowl District, I would like to thank the Chinese Club of San Marino for their generous donation,” Chavez said. “This gift will allow us to continue to bring the Scouting program to boys and girls in our communities, as well as leadership opportunities and outdoor activities.”
