Dedicated parents, students, committee members, the Old Guard and a host of enthusiastic supporters from the San Marino community are working tirelessly as they continue to assemble elaborate hand-painted and hand-constructed “Studio-Ghibli”-themed sets as San Marino High School’s Grad Night 2023 approaches.
Hundreds of carefully crafted panels and sculpted items were recently transported from the event’s construction site at the parking lot at the Wells Fargo Bank in San Marino to the high school’s upper campus, where volunteers will continue to work without pause until they place their final touches in creating a truly remarkable and unforgettable celebratory evening of dinner, dancing, entertainment, games and prizes on Friday, May 26, following the graduation ceremony.
The entire community (except for graduating Titans) is invited to the traditional Light Up event where the Grad Night set will be revealed and displayed on Wednesday, May 24, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This “all hands on deck” event is sponsored and organized by the SMHS Parent Teacher Student Association, but relies heavily upon the talents and resources of hundreds more.
