Monte Vista Grove Homes welcomed about 70 Founder’s Circle guests to a donor recognition reception at the San Gabriel Country Club on May 11.
Attendees enjoyed a short program with featured speaker, Jason Berns of the Berns Team, who gave a speech about the impact Monte Vista Grove Homes has made in the lives of his parents.
“My wife, Laura, and I have chosen personally to support the mission of MVGH and have also had our business get involved … to do a small part in ensuring generations to come will have the same blessing of being loved, cared for and served,” Berns said. “MVGH has loved my parents in ways I wish every child could see … and allowed my dad to live his final years of life with dignity.”
Founders Circle co-chairs Jim Cronk and the Rev. Marilyn Manning led the fundraising effort to raise more than $350,000 last year to benefit Monte Vista Grove Homes. Located on a beautifully landscaped 13.5-acre property in Pasadena, Monte Vista Grove Homes has been known for nearly 100 years as a leading provider of care and services for senior adults and is home to nearly 200 residents across four levels of housing and service options.
