The city of San Marino celebrated the Fourth of July holiday with hundreds of residents and community members gathered at Lacy Park.
After the morning’s JP Blecksmith 5K Memorial Run, the park opened with food trucks and a family fun zone. Guests were able to mark out places to picnic and watch that evening’s firework show while enjoying the Rotary Club of San Marino Parade, emceed by Mitch Lehman, and musical entertainment by the Kings of 88 cover band.
Lehman and San Marino Mayor Steve Talt introduced San Marino’s City Council, School Board members, Executive Team and Little League All-Stars. Later on, the presentation of colors was conducted by the San Marino Girl Scouts and the event concluded with an exciting firework show.
