East Meets West Parent Education Club Holds Seminar on University of California Applications

East Meets West Parent Education Club hosted a parenting seminar on the University of California admissions process at the San Marino Library on Sept. 24.

EMWPEC Executive Director Sophia Chan opened the event.

Yang Li and John Chang were invited as guest speakers, who conducted a successful seminar on college applications at the San Marino Library.

The event attracted more than 70 people, including parents and students eager to learn about distinguishing themselves when applying for the University of California.

During the seminar, Yang and Chang shared valuable insights and strategies for crafting standout UC college applications. Their expertise and guidance on this crucial topic left a lasting impact on the audience, helping them better understand the intricacies of the application process.

The engagement from the attendees was remarkable, as numerous questions were posed and thoughtfully answered by Yang and Chang.
