A holiday thanks to Chris Erskine for his warm-hearted columns ushering in the new year. The Scrooge psychologist who labeled an optimist like Mr. Erskine as having “impaired verbal skills and low cognition” has certainly not read his columns. His wit and wisdom shine through every apt simile and metaphor.
The Tribune’s readership is distinctly fortunate to enjoy Erskine’s observations throughout the year.
