Carver Elementary’s first grade Girl Scout Troop 1595 got into the holiday spirit by earning their Good Neighbor badge and giving back in their own way.
The Scouts each prepared a bag of toys to be given to the Foster Care Project, a ministry affiliated with All Saints Church in Pasadena.
The recipients included local children in the foster care system.
The project was a great way for the girls to learn about the importance of philanthropy and community over the holiday season.
