Plans are underway for the return of the “For The Love of Chocolate” event to be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Woman’s Club of South Pasadena.
This popular event, which began in 2012, was held annually until the coronavirus pandemic. Now, in the new year, this event has taken on the 2024 aura with chocolate properly paired with the wines and will officially be called “For the Love of Chocolate & Wine.”
A light dinner will be served with heart-shaped pizzas from Mamma’s Pizza, and arrangements are being made for a sommelier to offer guests wine pairings.
Guests will also be able to dance the night away to music provided by local musicians, The Grateful Dads.
An all-chocolate treats buffet will be offered for guests to indulge. A silent auction and raffles will all be Valentine’s Day themed, and the night will be filled with surprises.
The delicious fundraising event will benefit the Club’s charitable projects and scholarships.
Tickets are $45 per person and early reservations are recommended. The event will be held at the historic clubhouse at 1424 Fremont Ave.
