San Marino Fire Department personnel recently completed the inspection of the city’s more than 400 fire hydrants. Annual hydrant inspections are conducted by the SMFD to ensure operation, access and visibility. This means every hydrant in the city is opened and closed to ensure it operates. Hydrants requiring maintenance are referred to the city’s water providers, California American Water and Sunnyslope Water Company.
