The inaugural Rock Lacy! Battle of the Youth Rock Bands competition, open to ages 19 and younger, will award the first-place band the grand prize of two hours of studio recording time and a main stage performance at the city’s Independence Day celebration.
Bands interested in signing up should complete the online application by March 14 at 5 p.m. Finalists will be invited to an audition on March 23 at the San Marino Community Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Six bands will be selected to compete at Rock Lacy! on Saturday, April 20, at Lacy Park, starting at noon.
