Music of Mozart to Grace Good Friday Concert

Mozart’s beloved “Requiem” is set for the free Good Friday Devotional Concert on March 29 hosted by Friends of Music at Pasadena Presbyterian Church.

Mozart left his final masterpiece unfinished when he died, and one of his students, aided by other composers, provided the “finished” version best known today.

This 26th annual Good Friday Devotional Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Pasadena Presbyterian Church, 585 E. Colorado Blvd. Other musical selections include Samuel Barber’s “Agnus Dei,” Sir Karl Jenkins’ “Benedictus,” and Sir John Tavener’s “Song for Athene.”

Pasadena Presbyterian Church resident and guest singers, vocal soloists and the professional Friends of Music Orchestra are led by Timothy Howard.

Visit ppcmusic.org for directions to the church and parking information.
