San Marino fire and police personnel recently participated in cross-training to familiarize both departments with each other’s equipment and vehicles. Fire department personnel learned about police gear and patrol cars, and how to remove police department ballistic gear in the event of an injury needing immediate care. Fire personnel gave a demonstration on how to use the ambulance gurney, medical gear locations and the drag rescue device on each firefighter’s turnout gear.
