The San Marino High School Winter Color Guard recently became gold medalists in the Winter Guard Association of Southern California Championships on April 20 at Portola High School in Irvine.
With a score of 88.525, the team’s performance was a culmination of a stellar season.
The SMHS Winter Color Guard also took second place in the WGASC Las Vegas Signature Show on April 6 at Foothill High School in Henderson, Nevada.
In the WGASC high school A class, the team scored 85.275, less than one point behind the first-place school, Arbor View High School from Las Vegas, Nevada.
