Fire Department and Community Services staff recently participated in Family Assistance Center (FAC) training with the Los Angeles County Office of Emergency Management.
The San Marino Fire Department is in the process of developing an annex to the current Emergency Operations Plan to address the establishment of a Family Assistance Center, which would be used immediately following an emergency as part of the disaster response.
A Family Assistance Center would provide services for victims and families in need of aid to recover from a multi-casualty disaster.
