The San Marino Unified School District Board of Education honored Carver Elementary’s fall/spring student council on May 14 for its recent recognition as a “Student Council School of Excellence” by the American Student Council Association. Standing behind the students are board Vice President C. Joseph Chang, Carver Principal Stuart Caldwell, board member Jane Chon, board member Joanna Lam, Superintendent Linda de la Torre, board Clerk Francesca Gill, board President Shelley Ryan and student board member Megan Choa.
