Jason Edward DuNah grew up in San Marino and spent many hours at SMHS building sets for the drama classes, working on Grad Night preparations and lining the fields for every softball game he could attend. A lover of the outdoors, Jason was an avid surfer, skier and hiker but most of all, Jason’s greatest passion was his daughter, Sierra, who he fervently cheered, coached and encouraged through softball and in life.
True to his passions, Jason relocated to Kansas in early 2020 to support Sierra in her collegiate career in sports and academics, never missing a softball game. Jason was predeceased by his father, George Edward DuNah, and is survived by his wife Shelly, stepfather David, mother Roberta, children Drew and Sierra, granddaughter Sawyer, sisters Kelly, Erin and Natalie, brother Mike, Aunt Kay and many cousins.
Jason’s life will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Wichita Cancer Society.
