Carver Elementary School’s recent Bike Rodeo had a great turnout. Children in the 3rd to 5th grades were invited to get a bike license during lunch period. Parent volunteers administered a written exam and bike-riding test that included riding in zig-zags, figure 8s, straight lines and using hand signals. Members of the San Marino Police Department inspected the bikes and then certified each child. Children received coloring books, safety booklets and bike lights.
