The Rotary Club of San Marino featured two speakers at the Aug. 17 meeting, San Marino High School Athletic Director David Irie and football coach Nate Turner.
At San Marino Community Church, Irie thanked the Rotary Club for their support over the years, recapped the 2022-23 season, as well as shared his excitement about the growth in the Titan athletic rosters for the 2023-24 season.
Up next was Turner, who said he was looks forward to adding to San Marino’s history of close-knit community, family, positive student experience and Titan pride.
Turner also expressed his commitment to developing student athletes who pursue academic excellence, as well as players who give their best on the field. He hopes the 55 students on the football roster will learn much throughout their athletic journey, developing bonds and memories which will last a lifetime.
