She has but a few votes remaining, but when San Marino High School senior Jackie Hwang delivers her final report at the May 26 school board meeting, the final brushstrokes will be applied to a personal learning masterpiece.
“I think being the ASB representative to the school board has definitely made me more conscious of the significant roles the superintendent and board members play in our community,” said Hwang, who will attend USC this fall. “They really make an effort to assure that San Marino is very community oriented, which is very unique. They sincerely support a wide variety of functions and have really created a strong sense of community within San Marino.”
