Huntington Middle School students were treated to Career Day last Wednesday, which brought numerous local professionals to campus to speak to classes. Presenters spoke about the steps they took to launch their careers and what their jobs entail. Speakers included medical professionals, first responders, government officials and even a stand-up comedian. The event was co-chaired by Linda Gutierrez and June Gonzalez, who hope to encourage students to plan ahead and tailor their college prospects to their intended careers.
