An unidentified person who was allegedly burglarizing a home in the 600 block of Plymouth Road fled at 6:57 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, after the resident returned home.

A home in the 900 block of Roanoke Road was reported at 4:12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, to have been burglarized.

A home in the 1500 block of Avonrea Road was reported at 7:33 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, to have been burglarized after an alarm was triggered.

A vehicle was reported stolen from where it was parked in the 1500 block of Virginia Road at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17. It was recovered the next morning in the 1700 block of Ramiro Road.

A 27-year-old Monterey Park woman was arrested on suspicion of petty theft (with a prior conviction) and possession of a controlled substance after allegedly taking several items from a home in the 2600 block of Tura Lane at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17.

Police arrested two women and a man at 12:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, after receiving a report that one allegedly tried cashing a fraudulent check at a Huntington Drive bank. After pulling over a vehicle that matched the reported description, the motorist, a 39-year-old Cudahy woman, and a passenger, a 49-year-old woman from Dallas, Texas, were arrested on suspicion of forgery and counterfeiting, false personation, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. A 40-year-old passenger, a Hollywood man, was arrested on suspicion of providing false identification, possession of burglary tools, false personation, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

A package was reported stolen from the front porch of a home in the 1800 block of South El Molino Avenue at 2:41 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18.

A package was reported stolen from the front porch of a home in the 1400 block of Kensington Road at 9:53 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17.

There was a hit-and-run reported at 12:31 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, near the intersection of South San Gabriel Boulevard and Shakespeare Drive.

The San Marino Police Department had 385 calls for service between Sunday, Nov. 14, and Saturday, Nov. 20. There were three residential burglaries reported, and there have been 31 reported in total this year. Information was gathered from a department memorandum summarizing key incidents handled during this period.
