San Marino High School’s Wind Ensemble, Concert Band and Symphonic Orchestra traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area and performed at Ohlone College for adjudication through Forum Festivals held from April 28-30.
The Wind Ensemble and Concert Band received the highest distinction of Gold. The Symphonic Orchestra was conferred the Silver award.
Of the 72 members who performed, several students received Outstanding Musicianship Awards for their exceptional talents and performances, including Lauren Rooke — Mallets; Daphne Ko — Mallets; Ingrid Wu — Flute; and Corey Sy — Violin.
