Getting a break from oppressive heat, San Marino High School opened football practice on Monday afternoon in advance of the 2022 season. Second-year head Coach Ray Torres and his staff put the Titans through the paces that included drills that focused on team-building and physical conditioning.
San Marino will open with a nonleague game on Friday, Aug. 19, when Norwalk High visits SMHS for a 7 p.m. kickoff. San Marino will hold its annual Blue & White scrimmage in Titan Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 6, at 9 a.m. with all members of the program in uniform.
“Things got off to an excellent start,” said Torres. “I am really looking forward to seeing what this group can accomplish.”
