San Marino Police Department Crime Report Nov. 12 – 18

Police responded to a residential burglary in the 1200 block of Lorain Road at 8:31 p.m. on Nov. 16. According to reports, the victim entered his residence and found the rear sliding glass door shattered. Unknown suspects had allegedly entered the residence but nothing inside was found to be missing. Suspects then fled the location through the same broken rear sliding glass door. No suspects were located.

Another residential burglary occurred Nov. 17 at about 4 p.m. in the 700 block of Sierra Madre Boulevard. The victim located a side window pried out of the frame at the above location. No suspects were located due to a time delay in reporting, police reported.

A man contacted police after he observed three male subjects taking equipment from his work vehicle in the 800 block of Canterbury Road. Officers arrived at 1:35 p.m. on Nov. 14 and conducted an area check for the suspect vehicle but were unable to locate it.

The San Marino Police Department had 563 calls for service between Sunday, Nov. 12, and Saturday, Nov. 18. There were two residential burglaries in this time frame. There have been 40 residential burglaries reported so far this year. Information was gathered from a department memorandum summarizing key incidents handled during this period.
